What Youll Do
- Create with Care: Prepare meals following standardized recipes, ensuring every plate meets our high standards for nutrition and taste.
- Grow Your Skills: From baking breads to mastering quantity food prep, youll receive on-the-job training and professional development.
- Collaborate: Work closely with physicians (for therapeutic diets) and your fellow staff to ensure our patients needs are always met.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain a safe, sanitary workspace because excellence starts with a clean kitchen.
Qualifications
What Youll Bring
- Education: A High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 months of work experience (food service preferred, but we love a quick learner!).
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow directions with a positive, cooperative attitude.
- Physical Agility: This is a high-energy role! You should be comfortable standing/walking for 90% of your shift, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working in various kitchen temperatures.
- Compliance: Must be able to pass all state-mandated background checks, including KDADS and PRTF specific screenings.
