A little about this position:

- Assist the Ski Patrol Director, Assistant Director, and Managers in leading the patrol staff in daily operations while caring for our guests as a member of a professional mountain rescue team.
- Develop staff through daily mentorship, facilitating training, and completing performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, harassment-free environment through mutual respect and an inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

- Meet the requirements of a Mammoth Mountain Senior Ski Patroller (TT-C).
- Qualified to lead multiple avalanche control routes on Mammoth Mountain involving the deployment of explosives.
- Capable of leading/managing complex incidents (medical or rescue).
- Capable of performing the primary patrol dispatcher role.
- Demonstrate the ability to make rational decisions in a highly stressful environment or situation.
- Demonstrate effective and timely communication with all ski patrollers, patrol management, and other departments.
- Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively within the patrol management team.
- Effective evaluation and mentorship of Ski Patrol TT-B and TT-C personnel.
- Ability to manage daily Ski Patrol operations.
- Basic computer skills required, including experience with Microsoft Office.

Hourly pay rate: $35.58 to $42.44
