Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem Night Shift, 12-hour shifts Compensation: $22.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

- Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

- Participate in hourly rounds

- Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs

- Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs

- Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition

- Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed

- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

- Requires hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant)

- BLS is required within 90 days of hire
