About this role

The Fine Arts Association seeks a Music Therapist Board Certified to join the Creative Arts Therapy faculty.

Responsibilities

- Provide 1:1 and group music therapy services and adapted lessons (both in person and virtual) for clientele in community arts based MT program, including documentation and ongoing evaluation

- Assess/evaluate potential client needs through assessment

- Provide needed consultation with client families

- Document client progress in reports

- Participate in twice yearly client events

- Serve as advocate for organizations Creative Arts Therapies program

- Collaborate with Associate Director of Creative Arts Therapies to create new programming

- Participate in team meetings and peer supervision

Potential Opportunities

- Provide sessions on site or at satellite locations at The Fine Arts Association

- Various opportunities in connection with The Fine Arts Associations partnerships with off-site locations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy or an Equivalency Degree in Music Therapy

- Music Therapist-Board Certified

Preferred Qualifications :

- One year experience in Music Therapy

- Diverse client experience

- NMT preferred
