Title:
Senior Mechanical Modeller

Help Deliver Critical Infrastructure for Australia

As a   Senior Mechanical   Modeller ,   you'll   play a leading role in the delivery of mechanical systems for major transport infrastructure projects across rail, road,   tunnels   and stations. Working within multidisciplinary teams,   you'll   develop and coordinate complex 3D models, support design delivery, and help drive high-quality project outcomes from concept through to construction.

You'll   also   provide   technical guidance to junior   modellers , contribute to BIM and digital engineering best practices, and work closely with engineers, project   managers   and clients to deliver innovative and coordinated solutions for some of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and coordination of detailed mechanical models using Revit,   AutoCAD   and other digital engineering tools.

- Deliver mechanical modelling packages across all project phases, from concept design through to construction.

- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and clash-free design outcomes.

- Support and mentor junior   modellers , sharing technical   expertise   and best practice.

- Review modelling outputs to ensure compliance with project requirements, client   standards   and industry regulations.

- Identify   and resolve modelling,   coordination   and constructability challenges.

- Contribute to BIM, digital   engineering   and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Maintain a strong focus on safety,   quality   and technical excellence.

About You

- Diploma, Advanced Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering or   a related   discipline.

- 5+ years' experience using Revit MEP and/or other 3D modelling platforms within infrastructure projects.

- Strong experience modelling mechanical systems, including HVAC, tunnel ventilation, station services, pump stations, plant   rooms   or similar infrastructure assets.

- Proven experience coordinating models within multidisciplinary project teams.

- Sound understanding of BIM processes, model   coordination   and digital engineering workflows.

- Strong communication   skills and the ability to build effective relationships with project teams and stakeholders.

- A proactive approach to mentoring,   collaboration   and continuous improvement.
