Position Summary
As an Electrical Service Apprentice, you'll work alongside licensed electricians to diagnose and
repair electrical issues in homes and businesses, learning how to troubleshoot real problems
instead of just following a blueprint. You'll be hands-on from day one, building the skills that
lead to a long-term career in the electrical trade. This is just the starting point, and it's a path built
on steady demand and real job security for those who put in the work.
Key Responsibilities
Assist electricians with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical issues
Support service calls involving outlets, switches, panels, lighting, and wiring
Perform basic service tasks like pulling wires, running conduit, and mounting devices under
supervision
Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials for each assignment
Document job notes, parts used, and photos for each service call
Keep job sites and company vehicles clean, safe, and organized
Take part in training and safety meetings to build your technical and customer service skills

Qualifications
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Enrollment in or interest in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred
Experience
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Licenses/Certifications
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Demands and Conditions
Lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in varied weather
conditions
Occasionally working in confined spaces
Work Environment/Travel
Field-based role requiring travel to residential and commercial job sites
May require evening, weekend, or on-call shifts
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
