Summary

- Perform routine treatment procedures as directed.
- Assists Staff Nurse in complicated treatment procedures.
- Maintain traction supplies including traction cart every shift.
- Complete all equipment set up as directed.
- Report any changes observed in condition or behavior of patient.
- Communicate any patient complaints of pain to patient's nurse, charge nurse or unit coordinator.
- Assist in and, as necessary, accompany patient in the admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
- Provide and/or assists with personal care as necessary (i.e. baths, dressing of patients, personal hygiene, etc.)
- Assist with patient care, such as positioning patient, lifting and turning patient with proper body mechanics, applying/utilizing special equipment as necessary and ambulating the patient as directed.
- Under supervision, perform general care activities for patients in isolation.

Schedule

- 56 hours every 2 weeks
- Rotating shifts. Combination of both 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
- Every 3 rd weekend and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits

- Starting pay begins at $19.08 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $19.08 to $25.30 per hour

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant, preferred.
- Previous orderly or nurse aide experience preferred.
