About this role
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. This role is fully in office!
EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED FOR PDP WEB MERCHANDISER:
- Ensure items are available/unavailable, priced correctly, and displayed accurately
- Enter new product content (images, descriptions & specifications)
- Work with employees across all departments
- Assist with any problems associated with web merchandise in conjunction with customer service
- Work on an organizational level with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Answer sales questions about web products, prices, availability, & transfers
- Recommend advertising opportunities based on web inventory levels
- Make informed decisions on where to place web merchandise
- Work closely with factory representatives to obtain product, collection & brand specific material to be used on the web
- Download/upload photography to product pages
- Attend weekly walk through to determine sales volume of merchandise on the floor (multiple locations)
- Work closely with factory representatives to discuss sales
- Assist with periodic inventory counts
- Help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs
- Use excellent customer relations
- Any other duties as directed by management

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS FOR PDP WEB MERCHANDISER: Ability to communicate effectively with team members; ability to work with many levels of management, including ownership; ability to maintain upmost confidentiality regarding sales, product plans, advertising, etc.; positive attitude when working with customers; knowledge of employment, safety, and merchandise handling procedures.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.
Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly to move objects.
Work Environment: Indoor, temperature-controlled environment.
