This position requires a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can work effectively in a ranch environment in a professional manner while providing excellent customer service to a variety of clients. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Guide quail/dove hunting trips
- Help train and maintain approximately 45 hunting dogs and kennel
- Operate equipment for general ranch maintenance and brush clearing
- General ranch maintenance
Essential Functions
Additional Requirements:
- Guided quail hunting experience required (3–5 years preferred)
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (cannot be dropped off)
Important Notes:
- Drive to camp from the gate entrance can be from 5–15 miles one-way
- Longer working days during peak season (September–February); can be 7 days a week depending on hunt schedule
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required
