We are currently seeking to employ a Floating Maintenance Technician to help with our Pennsylvania property locations. This position will float between properties as needed.

$1000 SIGN ON BONUS

Duties and Responsibilities include:

- Exhibiting strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer

- Communicating and working well with both leasing and maintenance staff members

- Always representing the company in a professional and courteous manner

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, turnovers, preventative maintenance to units and common areas as well as any other duties assigned

- Sharing on-call responsibility

- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing related issues

- Providing own (basic) hand tools

- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

- Attending in-house training as required

- Maintaining current preventative maintenance property logs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

- Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools

- Lifting and moving heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.)

- Be able to shovel and salt as required

- Perform routine, preventative maintenance

- Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills

- Be able to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols

- Able and willing to lift objects as required

- Keep track of inventory and maintain a clean and stocked shop

- Complete work orders in a timely manner

- Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues

- Follow company operational and safety procedures

- Ability to work an on-call schedule as required

- A positive, team-oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values

- Reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain valid drivers license and working vehicle
