Community & Insights Lead

As the Local Community & Insights Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in equipping our Teach Managers and Volunteer Leaders with the strategies, insights, and tools they need to create vibrant, engaged volunteer communities. This isn’t a direct execution role at centers—it’s about enabling and empowering teams on the ground to make a difference!

What You’ll Do:
Volunteer Engagement & Retention Strategies
- Design frameworks to build and sustain volunteer communities at our centers.
- Support Teach Managers & Volunteer Leaders through training, showcases, and toolkits.
- Champion the Flippen Culture & Community Practices in all engagement efforts.

Data & Insights for Engagement & Retention
- Track, analyze, and report on volunteer retention, drop-off, and engagement trends.
- Standardize reporting dashboards and insights-sharing formats.
- Provide data-backed recommendations to improve volunteer experiences.

Training & Enablement
- Conduct workshops and showcases to strengthen community-building skills.
- Develop and maintain structured engagement playbooks and templates.
- Facilitate best practice sharing and check-ins across locations.

Task & Project Management
- Manage monthly planning cycles and oversee engagement roadmaps.
- Ensure smooth execution of community initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:
- 2-4 years of experience in community building, volunteer engagement, or program management.
- Strong data analysis & reporting skills (Google Sheets, dashboards, tracking systems).
- Experience in training, facilitation, and resource creation.
- Proficiency in task management & collaboration tools (Trello, Asana, Notion).
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for volunteerism, community impact, and social change!
