Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care

**Location:** Chesterfield
**Salary:** £30,000 – £32,000 per year, depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a children’s residential care team in Chesterfield.
You will provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a safe and nurturing environment.
The role requires someone who can lead by example and work effectively as part of a care team.

Tasks

* Provide daily care and support to children and young people.
* Support their wellbeing, development and independence.
* Work with the team to maintain a safe and positive environment.
* Follow safeguarding and care procedures.

Requirements

* **NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare – Required**
* Minimum 3 **years’ experience** in children’s residential care.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding. Required Documents
