About this role

The Position

Join a diverse and multi-cultural team of scientists and technicians that make a difference with state-of-the-art analytical technologies and instruments within our expanding Biologic Development Center (BDC) at Celonic Basel.
The Analytical Lab Technician will be responsible for executing analytical experiments and support problem-solving efforts.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of proficiency in one or more advanced analytical techniques, such as CE-SDS, cIEF, U/HPLC . Preferentially, with extensive experience in protein analytics. In this role, you will execute fit-for-purpose analytical methods that support process development, implementing GMP-ready methods and their transfer to Quality Control.

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation and performance of analyses incl. data evaluation and reporting via result databases and LIMS. Where possible assist in the interpretation of results. Support troubleshooting activities in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts. Support in transfer/handover of analytical methods to GMP Quality Control including validations. Regular review/update/improvement of processes and SOPs. Drive simple initiatives (in relation to job duties) with limited guidance and supervision within his/her team/group Follows all EHS procedures and laboratory safety standards, maintains a clean and safe workspace, and promptly reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses.

Job Requirements

Biological laboratory technician degree (preferred) or BSc in Biotechnology or related field Biotechnology or Pharma industry experience, ideally CDMO setting with a focus on process development (1-2 years) Desirable: Experience in using LIMS and reporting, optimally STARLIMS Good communication skills in English (German is a plus) Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks Well-organized working attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to deal with changes and quickly adjust to new situations Integrity Collaborative team player
