About this role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to lead and manage industrial electrical and E&I construction projects from mobilization and installation through testing, commissioning, energization, and final client handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage, and supervise industrial electrical construction projects.
- Lead installation of MV/LV substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and switchyards .
- Supervise cable laying, jointing, termination, testing, and energization activities.
- Oversee installation of motors, pumps, VFDs, protection, metering, and control systems .
- Coordinate PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and communication-system works.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, BOQs, method statements, and project schedules.
- Support planning teams with construction plans, manpower requirements, and material forecasts.
- Manage engineers, technicians, labor teams, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, cost, quality, and schedule performance .
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and applicable standards.
- Enforce HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and safe working practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 15+ years of experience in industrial electrical construction projects.
- Extensive experience with MV/LV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, cables, motors, protection, and control systems .
- Strong experience in installation, testing, commissioning, energization, and project handover .
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, project schedules, costs, quality, and HSE requirements .
