About this role
We are seeking a safety-focused Production Technician to support daily production operations in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Regular duties performed by a person in this position include, but are not limited to; 1) package intermediates and finished products in bags, super sacks, cartons, drums, totes, boxes, tank wagons, etc. (must be able to manually load 50lb sacks onto a skid) 2) Changing filters, filtration systems, 3) Assembly and disassembly of the rotoformer, 4) Troubleshoot problems with flaker belts, rotoformer, packaging equipment, 5) perform routine cleaning and housekeeping, 6) Operate various Crushers, 7) setup packaging for upcoming batches, 8) labeling, stenciling, placarding of intermediates, products, and rework containers, 9) performing inspections, filling out checklists, etc. 10) strictly follow safety protocols set forth by the federal, state, local, and the site.
