Agile Developer III

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Agile Developer to join our team!

Specifically, you will join the Rules Team modernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. This position focuses on automated test development for the Rules Team.

The Work:

- Writing Java Spring Boot based microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies
- Utilizing Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
- Building REST services with Spring able to filter and select complex data objects
- Implementing CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab and GitOps
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Communicating and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education 9 years of relevant experience, or a Masters degree plus 7 years of relevant experience

- An active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph within the last 7 years

Required:

- Cucumber testing
- Cypress and Playwright testing
- Python
- CI/CD tools: AWS tools, Maven, GitLab & GitOps, Kubernetes, Docker
- Development in a cloud environment
- Experience with rules engines
- Able to support an on-call rotation

Desired:

- AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, etc.)
- Document-based stores (MongoDB, OpenSearch, etc.)
- Relational data store familiarity (RDS, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
