Accounts Receivable / Receptionist – Part-Time

Sexton Ford is looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly individual to join our team in a dual Accounts Receivable and Receptionist position .
This role will primarily assist with accounts receivable and general office responsibilities while also helping cover our front desk on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, comfortable working with numbers, and enjoys interacting with customers and coworkers.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments and accurately record transactions
- Handle cash and assist with daily cash reconciliation
- Prepare and process bank deposits
- Reconcile customer accounts and research account discrepancies
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
- Assist the accounting department with general daily office duties
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
- Greet customers and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Provide general customer service and front-desk support
- Assist other departments with administrative needs as necessary
- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer and company financial information
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Comfortable working with numbers, payments, and financial records
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous accounts receivable, bookkeeping, cashier, office, or receptionist experience is preferred but not required
- Must be available to work Saturdays
