Job Summary:

Working from our  Clients site location in Fort McMurray t he Swamper  position entails assisting a hydro vac operator preform jobs daily  o f  a tri-drive hydro  Vac  unit.    Mechanical skills will be an asset  and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather.   Preference will be given to candidates that possess previous hydro-vac experience  in the industrial sector .

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Position entails assisting a hydro vac operator preform jobs daily
- Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in all  weather  
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites
- Follow instructions for tasks assigned  by  operator. 
- Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of company  image
- Attend daily  tool box  and safety meetings as scheduled  and  adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Possess a (minimum) v alid Class 5  license with clean driver’s  abstract  
- Previous (or related) experience operating  hydro  Vac units  
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- OSSA (or OSSA BSO /CSO ) and CSTS certification
- H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance, Confined space and fall protection  certification
- Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&A and fit for duty pre-employment  screening
