Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound warehouse functions, including receiving, unloading, inspection, and product put-away.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with receiving documentation, vendor requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor inbound KPIs such as dock-to-stock time, receiving accuracy, and vendor compliance.
- Provide direct management of receiving employees, ensuring training and development opportunities.
- Optimize labor schedules and manage departmental expenses.
- Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and quality teams to address discrepancies or vendor issues.
- Implement process improvements for inbound efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local receiving regulations.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized inbound work areas.
- Partner with operations and IT to improve inbound reporting and automation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business preferred (equivalent experience acceptable).
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in warehouse or inbound logistics.
- Strong knowledge of receiving and inbound processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
