The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced JTDC Activation Planner, Senior to support Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC) activation and theater   logistics   operations across the Indo-Pacific. The JTDC Activation Planner, Senior serves as CACI's   logistics   activation manager responsible for leading assigned personnel and planning, coordinating, managing, and executing the activation, expansion, transition, and sustainment of Joint Theater Distribution Centers supporting   logistics , mission support, contingency operations, and operational readiness. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Management Lead, this position ensures JTDC capabilities are   established   rapidly and synchronized with Government operational   objectives   to support theater distribution and sustainment requirements.

The JTDC Activation Planner works closely with Government stakeholders, logistics planners, transportation managers, supply chain personnel, engineers, warehouse managers, movement control teams, operational planners, Service Components, coalition partners, and host nation organizations to develop activation plans, coordinate infrastructure requirements, synchronize personnel and equipment deployments, and establish distribution operations. This position contributes to successful program execution by enabling rapid establishment of theater distribution capabilities that enhance operational agility and sustainment throughout the Indo-Pacific theater.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead the development and execution of activation plans for Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs) supporting steady-state, contingency, and emergent operations, with accountability for assigned personnel, resources, schedules, and deliverables.

- Direct and coordinate site activation activities, including infrastructure readiness, personnel deployment, equipment fielding, communications, and   logistics   support; assign priorities and workloads to ensure activation milestones are achieved.

- Develop JTDC activation timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and operational checklists.

- Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate transportation, supply chain, warehouse, engineering, facilities, communications, and security personnel to   establish   operational capability.

- Support site assessments and evaluate infrastructure, utilities, transportation access, force protection, and operational suitability.

- Synchronize reception, staging, onward movement, and integration (RSOI) activities supporting JTDC activation.

- Coordinate procurement, transportation, and delivery of equipment, material handling equipment (MHE), warehouse systems, and mission support assets.

- Develop operational procedures, workflow processes, inventory management plans, and distribution operations supporting JTDC activities.

- Oversee readiness assessments, risk analyses, and operational capability evaluations; manage corrective actions, escalate significant risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Prepare executive-level briefings, activation status reports,   logistics   assessments, and decision support products for Government leadership.

- Coordinate activation efforts with Service Components, Combatant Commands, coalition partners, commercial providers, and host nation agencies.

- Support contingency planning, operational exercises, humanitarian   assistance , disaster response, and surge   logistics   operations.

- Maintain activation documentation, standard operating procedures, configuration records, and lessons learned.

- Supervise, coach, and mentor   logistics   planners and operational personnel; provide performance feedback, support professional development, and promote standardized JTDC activation methodologies.

- Manage team performance and accountability for quality, schedule, operational readiness, and Government deliverables while promoting innovation, operational flexibility, and continuous process improvement to improve theater distribution readiness.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Minimum 8 years of experience supporting   logistics   planning, distribution operations, supply chain management, theater sustainment, operational   logistics , or deployment planning for Government or Department of Defense programs.

- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.

- Experience planning or supporting distribution centers,   logistics   support areas, intermediate staging bases (ISBs), warehouses, or contingency   logistics   operations.

- Experience supporting Reception, Staging, Onward Movement, and Integration (RSOI), deployment operations, theater distribution, or   logistics   site activation.

- Experience coordinating cross-functional   logistics   activities involving transportation, supply chain management, engineering, facilities, and operational planning.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and brief senior Government and program leadership on   logistics   planning, activation progress, operational readiness, and risk mitigation.

- Working knowledge of Joint   logistics   doctrine, theater distribution operations, and contingency   logistics   planning.

Desired

- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Military Science, Transportation Management, or a related field.

- Experience supporting USSOCOM, SOCPAC, Geographic Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, or Service Component   logistics   organizations.

- Experience supporting Indo-Pacific operations, contested   logistics , expeditionary   logistics , theater opening operations, or multinational sustainment activities.

- Experience utilizing GCSS-Army, GCSS-MC, GCCS-J, JOPES, Power BI, SharePoint, ArcGIS, Microsoft 365,   SmarTrack , TAPID, ATLAS, or other   logistics   planning and asset visibility systems.

- Knowledge of Joint   logistics   doctrine, Joint theater distribution, warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation planning, and commercial   logistics   integration.

- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), or equivalent   logistics   and supply chain certifications are preferred.

- Experience activating and   operating   Joint Theater Distribution Centers (JTDCs), Intermediate Staging Bases (ISBs), expeditionary   logistics   sites, or contingency distribution hubs supporting Special Operations Forces and Indo-Pacific operations is highly desirable.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,600-$129,300
