About this role
The Associate Director of Principal Gifts manages a portfolio of the College's highest-capacity alumni, parents, and friends, with a primary focus on securing leadership and principal gifts in support of Skidmore College's strategic priorities. Reporting to the Senior Director of Principal and Major Gifts, the position develops and implements individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for principal gift prospects while collaborating closely with Advancement colleagues, senior administrators, volunteers, and campus partners. The Associate Director serves as a trusted relationship manager for complex donor relationships and supports presidential and volunteer engagement strategies that advance the College's fundraising priorities.
