##### Purpose
##### Essential Duties
Safe, efficient, and continuous preparation, delivery, and monitoring of process reagents and utilities in support of plant operations.
##### Training & Experience
- Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements, including Fitness for Work and adherence to Newmont Safety Systems and PNG Mine Safety Act.
- Perform tasks only after hazards and potential consequences are identified and mitigated.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Newmont Values.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team and maintain clear communication during shift handovers and toolbox meetings.
- Operate and monitor Lime Plant, Cyanide Mixing, CCD Flocculent Mixing, Carbon Addition, Containment Pond Management, Seawater and Raw Water System.
- Execute daily plans, inspections, and routine schedules, reporting defects and hazards promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas and ensure compliance with SOPs and environmental guidelines.
- Apply knowledge of reagent safety (PPE, SDS, Handling, etc).
- Conduct regular inspections of Lime Plant and other Reagent facilities, ensuring operational integrity and process efficiency.
- Participate in troubleshooting and optimization activities.
##### Training & Experience
- Prior experience in gold processing or similar heavy industry environment and/or above Grade 10 school.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, Overhead Crane, etc.
- Strong understanding of cyanide safety.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and time management.
##### Working Conditions
This is a FIFO role on a 28/14 rotating roster.
