About this role
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Assist with food preparation and storage, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Keep the dishwashing and kitchen areas tidy and in compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Support the kitchen and restaurant team with stock organization, deliveries, and inventory management.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning dining areas for special events or daily operations.
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals properly, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
Candidate profile:
- Previous experience as a steward or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work long hours, including weekends and holidays.
