Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

- Support with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety.

- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

- Provide patient observation and monitor for any changes in health or behavior, especially for clients with dementia or neurodevelopmental disorders.

- Help with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety.

- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and engagement.

- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.

- Support clients during outings or appointments by providing personal transportation assistance.

No prior experience is required — we provide training and ongoing support.

Qualifications:

- Applicants must be at least 18 years old

- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

- Ability to lift, push, or pull 25 pounds

- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, and reach

- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

- Personal reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and driver's license required

- Live in and willing to travel within 30 miles of their home in Madison County, IL

- Ability to use basic technology (Cell phone apps) to be able to provide reports through our electronic system
