Role Purpose

The Business Analyst acts as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, clients, and technical delivery teams. The role is responsible for eliciting, analysing, and translating business needs into clear, structured, and implementable digital requirements that support system enhancements, integrations, and client implementations.

This role supports the full software delivery lifecycle and contributes to continuous improvement across digital processes, platforms, and customer experiences.

Role Description

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, product teams, and developers to define and document digital requirements across web-based platforms, system integrations, and operational workflows. You will assist in shaping scalable, efficient solutions while ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical feasibility, and user experience.

You will contribute to solution design, documentation, testing, and delivery, building a strong foundation for progression into senior analysis, product ownership, or solution design roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Business & Digital Analysis

- Elicit, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for digital platforms and system enhancements.

- Translate business needs into clear digital specifications, user stories, and process documentation.

- Define and document   “As-Is”   and   “To-Be”   business and digital processes.

- Support digital transformation initiatives through process optimisation and automation opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Be the key person responsible for managing and owning the client relationship

- Engage with clients, business users, and internal teams to clarify requirements and manage expectations.

- Lead requirement workshops, discovery sessions, and solution walkthroughs.

- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding.

Delivery & SDLC Support

- Support the full System Implementation Life Cycle (SILC), from discovery through to implementation and post-go-live support.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure requirements are correctly interpreted and delivered.

- Assist with scope management, change requests, and impact assessments.

Testing & Quality Assurance

- Support the creation of test cases aligned to business and digital requirements.

- Participate in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Assist with UAT preparation, execution support, and defect tracking.

Documentation & Governance

- Produce high-quality, structured documentation including requirement specifications, process flows, and solution descriptions.

- Ensure documentation standards, version control, and approval processes are followed.

Digital & Technical Awareness

- Understanding of digital platforms, system workflows, and data flows.

- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.

- Ability to work with digital tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms (advantageous).
