The Opportunity
As a full-time housekeeping aide, you help protect patient well-being by keeping clinical spaces consistently clean and ready for care. Youll perform hospital housekeeping across an acute care setting that includes an Inpatient Psych Facility (IPF), Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF), and surgical areas, working efficiently while maintaining a respectful, service-minded approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing assigned patient and clinical areas to facility standards
- Supporting room/area readiness for patient care activities
- Maintaining a professional, compassionate presence with patients, visitors, and staff
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three months of health care or commercial housekeeping experience preferred

A Typical Shift
Youll start by checking your assigned areas and planning your route for the shift. Throughout the day, youll move between units as needs change, communicate with nursing and other departments about timing, and stay alert to patient privacy and a calm, reassuring presence—especially in sensitive settings. Youll wrap up by confirming spaces are ready for the next patients and handing off any updates before clock-out.
