Job Description:

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) O ccupational Health Nurse, located in Zug , Switzerland .

The O ccupational Health (OH) Nurse supports the health, safety, and well-being of employees by delivering on-site occupational health services for DePuy Synthes in Switzerland and provide regional support as needed . This role provides clinical care, health surveillance, and case management while ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations and company standards. The position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe work environment, supporting employee well-being, and enabling business continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment .

Key Responsibilities

- Provide occupational health nursing services, including assessment, triage, and first-line clinical care for employee health concerns .

- Support manage ment of occupational health vendor relationships and healthcare providers to ensure service quality and cost effectiveness.

- Manage work-related injury and illness cases, including treatment coordination, documentation, and return-to-work support .

- Support health surveillance programs, medical monitoring, psychosocial risk assessments, and compliance with occupational health requirements .

- Maintain accurate , confidential employee medical records in accordance with privacy regulations and company policies .

- Partner   with EHS, FM (E&PS), HR, and business leaders to   identify , assess and mitigate workplace health risks.

- Deliver employee education on occupational health, safety, and wellness topics .

- Participate in incident investigations and recommend preventive or corrective actions related to employee health .

- Promote DePuy Synthes and Johnson & Johnson Credo values in all employee and clinical interactions .

Qualifications

Education:

- Nursing diploma or   Bachelor’s degree in Nursing   (required)

- Additional   training in Occupational Health, Public Health, or a related discipline (preferred)

Experience and Skills:

Required:

- Typically   4 - 6   years of experience in occupational health, employee health, or clinical nursing roles

- Valid nursing license/registration in Switzerland

- Knowledge of occupational health regulations, clinical best practices, and employee health programs

- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and case   and   vendor   management   skills

- Ability to manage sensitive medical information with discretion and confidentiality

- Effective communication skills to work with employees, leaders, and cross‑functional partners

Preferred:

- Experience supporting occupational health in manufacturing or regulated environments.

- Experience   collaborating with HR, EHS, FM (E&PS), and business leaders.

- Experience in healthcare, medical   device , or life sciences industries.

- Exposure   managing external occupational health vendors.

- Exposure to   wellness or preventive health initiatives .

- Familiarity with workplace health surveillance, ergonomics, and injury prevention .

Other:

- Languages: German   required ; English   proficiency   preferred

- Travel: Minimal travel expected (up to 5%, within Switzerland)

- Certifications: Occupational Health Nurse certification or equivalent (preferred)
