We have an immediate hiring need for our full-time manufacturing   Machine Operator   2 . This is a  3RD   Shift role (Sun-Thur,   10:00PM – 6:00AM ), in the   456   department with a starting rate of $ 19.35   per hour with a 10%   shift premium.

Job Summary:

Sets up and   operates   a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the

company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform

production   tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances.

Responsib ilities and Essential Functions:

Uses documented work instructions with schematics and manufacturing execution systems on semi-routine assignments at a variety of workstations. Works with little direction and uses judgment to recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.

This position works   with Surface Mount Technologies and other   electronically-controlled   processes ,   components   and full Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layouts for final product creation . The ability to i nteract with machines, select solder, wave solder, and conformal coat   and   set up and   operate   multiple machines and workstations at once   is crucial to the role.   Acting as an   SMT Operator, pick parts, set up jobs per pic list, running the lines which requires 5 pieces of equipment at once, first line of inspection for all boards to ensure they are being built properly, work with techs and team leads to troubleshoot equipment failures   and   canning and link information to jobs.

This position p repares reels and feeders for use on surface mount technology (SMT) machines; counts materials and moves to production line , burns firmware programs into electronic components using programming machines, creates and applies labels onto PCBs (manually and/or automated) , m akes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to print specifications   and operates optical inspection machine and performs visual classification and repair of rejected boards .   Overtime is an essential function of this   position   which typically requires 20 hours of overtime/week .    Actual overtime hours may vary.

Minimum Qualifications: You Will Have

- A minimum of High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Qualifications:  You May Have

- Typically requires   1 year of previously   related experience.
