- Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027.

Responsibilities
What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
- The SpectrumGPT Platform Engineering Intern supports the platform team in building and operating the self-service infrastructure that enables teams across Charter to develop and deploy AI agent systems. This position contributes to multi-cloud platform capabilities spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP, supporting the tooling, automation, and developer experience that allow internal teams to bring agentic AI applications from prototype to production.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules that enable teams to provision AI infrastructure (model endpoints, agent runtimes, vector databases) on the SpectrumGPT EKS cluster through self-@service workflows -@ Build and extend CI/CD pipeline components in GitLab CI that automate the Build, test, and deployment of AI agent services across the platform - Develop application code (Python) for internal tooling that allows teams to configure, manage, and monitor their deployed AI systems, including service registration, environment configuration, and health dashboards -@ Write integration code connecting self-@service platform components with underlying cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI) and internal systems (AI Gateway, MCP Registry) - Participate in code reviews, Write automated tests for infrastructure and application code, and document platform capabilities for consuming teams - Troubleshoot deployment issues, support onboarding teams with infrastructure questions, and contribute to runbooks and operational documentation
Qualifications
Required qualifications
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
