Overview

Fountain Tire Calgary (Northland Drive), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate!

Please note: This is a temporary position to provide support for the busy season, with the opportunity for subsequent permanent employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians

- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.

- Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received

- Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel, and mechanical service to customers

- Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.

- Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.

- Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site, or field.

- Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.

- Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

- Previous experience in the automotive repair, tire, or sales industry is preferred but not required

- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required

- Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations

- Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services

- The ability to lift up to 50lbs as required

- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract

- Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must
