Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MercuryGate TMS / Transportation Management Consultant to support enterprise transportation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with MercuryGate TMS, transportation planning, shipment execution, carrier management, integrations, configuration, and production support.
Required Skills
• 5+ years of experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Strong hands-on experience with MercuryGate TMS
• Experience with transportation planning and shipment execution
• Strong knowledge of tendering, routing, routing guides, lanes, rates, and accessorials
• Experience with carrier management and transportation operations
• Hands-on experience with EDI/API integrations and troubleshooting
• Experience with TMS configuration, testing, UAT, and production support
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics processes
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide effective technical solutions
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with enterprise-scale transportation/logistics environments

Preferred Skills
• SQL experience
• Strong knowledge of EDI transactions
• Experience integrating TMS with ERP/WMS systems
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience supporting large-scale transportation and logistics operations

Key Responsibilities
• Configure and support MercuryGate TMS based on business and transportation requirements
• Support transportation planning, routing, tendering, and shipment execution processes
• Manage and troubleshoot carrier, rate, lane, routing guide, and accessorial configurations
• Troubleshoot EDI/API integration issues and coordinate with technical teams
• Provide production support and resolve TMS-related incidents
• Participate in system testing, UAT, releases, and enhancements
• Work closely with transportation, supply chain, logistics, and business teams
• Analyze transportation processes and recommend improvements
• Support integrations between MercuryGate, ERP, WMS, and other enterprise systems
• Document configurations, processes, issues, and solutions
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
