$18.00 per hour | Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm | Full-time; Direct Hire

$250 Sign-on Bonus | Eligible Pay Increase up to $20.00 per hour at 90-Day Evaluation

JOB SUMMARY:

This job entails the manufacturing of portable court panels and subfloor systems. This includes building subfloor panels, nailing panels, and cutting floor panels to size, among other responsibilities. This is a local position and the work is performed onsite at Praters, Inc., Rossville, GA location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Must be able to work without constant or direct supervision.

- Lifting, bending, and carrying equipment and materials such as bundles of wood and other heavy objects with weights sometimes exceeding 100 lbs.

- Have the experience or the ability to learn to operate and perform minor job site maintenance on construction equipment or tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, etc.

- Follow the correct procedures for a quality job, perform it safely, and maintain job site cleanliness as specified in the employee manual or by Management.

- The ability to read a tape measure, make the proper calculations for woodcuts, etc.

- Ability to deliver panels and manufactured portable courts between Praters, Inc. locations

- Willing to work overtime and some weekends.

- Will at all times conduct themselves as a representative of Praters, Inc. and support Praters, Inc.'s missions and goals.

- Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS NEEDED:

- Ability to read a tape measure/ruler competently

- Prior Manufacturing/production experience

- Basic carpentry or construction experience

- Ability to stand and bend for long periods and the ability to lift 100+ pounds periodically (team lifting)

- Able to effectively and efficiently organize, and work well on a team but also have the independence to work individually

- Have a good work ethic and be able to produce high-quality work

- Valid driver's license - Required (to operate company vehicles)

- Must be 21 years old or older (age requirement to operate company vehicles)

- Must be able to pass a 7-panel drug screen

- A 7-year background check performed
