As a Food & Beverage Ops Supervisor, a typical day will include:
- Inspects storage areas for organization, use of First In First Out ( FIFO ) , and cleanliness and rectify any deficiencies.
- Completes inventories (e.g., opening inventory) of supplies, food, and liquor, check s stock , and requisitions necessary supplies.
- Leads shifts and supervises associates as scheduled.
- Monitors dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Ensures associates are trained in company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job.
- Collaborates with management to formally recognize hourly associates' performance contributions.
- Assists in hourly duties as needed to ensure proper coverage and guest satisfaction.
Guest Experience and Company Standards
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
- Contribute to team goals.
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
To Become a Food & Beverage Ops Supervisor at MVW:
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
- Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25 lbs without assistance .
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
