Summary   Manages all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30am-1:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities   include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

- I mplement s ,   improves   and   maintain s   the operational functions of the   departments   while achieving effective and efficient service to the customer with a focus on quality, productivity,   safety   and loss prevention.

- Establishes productivity and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains adherence through follow up and due diligence.

- Manage s   operating budget s   to meet the planned   volume   for the   year   includ ing   cost analysis ,   P&L   a ccountability   and   labor productivity.

- Works directly with all levels of associates to ensure procedures are followed   consistently   and best practices are adhered to regularly.

- Plan s , schedule s , and manage s   the daily work activities within the   departments   to   meet or exceed established key performance indicators (KPI’s) .

- Leverage s   continuous improvement method s   to enhance   labor productivity and process accuracy while   maintaining   a clean and safe work environment .

- Perform s   managerial   functions, such   as,   mentoring, coaching,   administering   performance reviews,   conducting   disciplinary   actions   and i nterviewing employment candidates .

- Trains and   ensures   all assigned associates are aware of and   comply with   company, government and customer policies,   procedures   and regulations.

- Performs administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.

- Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.

- Trains and   ensures   all assigned employees are aware of and   comply with   company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manages five subordinate superviso rs who supervise a total of 45+   employees in the Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving,   Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing departments.   Is responsible for   the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these   units.   Carries out supervisory responsibilities   in accordance with   the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,   operating   and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals .    Ability to   write   routine reports and correspondence .    Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of   organization .

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume .    Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common   sense   understanding to carry out instructions   furnished   in written, oral, or diagram form .    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software, MS Word Processing software, and MS Outlook.

Other Skills and Abilities

Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired, but not necessary.

Pay Range:

$70,000-$80,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.  The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
