About this role

Your tasks

- Identify, structure, negotiate and execute profitable Gas & Power wholesale transactions, organize and handle of natural gas transport, storage and power hub-services for medium/long term Gas & Power deliveries.

- Develop and execute new products and services

- Actively develop and execute tailor-made solutions to existing and new clients

- To take advantage of existing contacts to open new business opportunities focused to strengthen the position in supply, storage, asset and sales and actively maintain and develop a strong relationship with existing and potential customers and counterparties

- Identify, originate, negotiate and execute arbitrage opportunities supported by asset positions

- To identify and communicate pricing fundamentals and dynamics for the assigned regions

- To deal with existing and new counterparties active in different commodities to increase the optimization opportunities

- Grow the power business abroad and make it a significant contributor to Sales, Trading & Origination P&L

- Support and act as a back-up function for the requirement of the Portfolio Management in the assigned regions

- Gather and share natural gas market intelligence

Your profile

- University Degree Master Degree

- Relevant professional experience: >9 years

- At least 9 years in Trading & Origination Gas & Power activities and also international experience

- Able to perform financial /economic analysis and possess a good understanding of the energy market and terminology

- Deep understanding of the pricing mechanism of the relevant energy markets & products

- Experience in trading & origination power & gas in Europe (Focus on the Central Eastern Europe region); additional experience in oil are not necessary, but beneficiary

- Experience in setting up market access to exchanges, brokers, auction platforms, etc.

- Experience in negotiating counterpart agreements, e.g. EFET

- Strong knowledge of structured gas and power products for the North American wholesale market

- Fluent in English, other languages would be a benefit

- Strong management, leadership, and communication skills combined with significant network in counterparties
