As a Tax Manager, you will be an important member of our dedicated finance team in which we work closely together and support each other. You will directly report to the Dutch-based Head of Finance & Administration / Managing Director with a dotted line to the Head of Global Tax in Germany. You will be responsible for tax and transfer pricing matters of our in-house bank and act as a key tax contact for Group Tax, Legal, Treasury and the local finance teams of our international subsidiaries. Together with the team, you will contribute to the further development of our processes and reporting environment and help ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
What you can expect:
You are responsible for the operational management of corporate income tax matters of the Dutch fiscal unit, including tax accounting, the calculation of current and deferred taxes, the preparation and filing of tax returns, the support of tax audits and the identification of tax risks.
You support the further development and implementation of the intercompany financing strategy and financing conditions, taking into account the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines for Financial Transactions (Chapter X).
You provide tax support to our international subsidiaries and branches regarding capitalization and financing matters.
In this role, you will advise and cooperate closely with our local finance departments, particularly on withholding tax matters.
Together with the Group Tax department, you will contribute to group-wide tax and transfer pricing projects and help ensure that all documentary compliance requirements are met.
You coordinate and collaborate with external tax advisors and support interactions with the Dutch tax authorities regarding Dutch tax and transfer pricing matters.
You support the VAT compliance and governance framework of the Dutch entities, ensuring accurate and timely VAT filings and contributing to the effective management of VAT risks.
Your profile:
You have successfully completed your master studies in Dutch tax law or fiscal economics
Experience in the field of CIT, TP and international taxes at an international corporation or an audit and tax consulting company for at least 5 years
Expert knowledge of international tax law and transfer pricing regulations
Ability to work independently in a small team with a high level of commitment
You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and can communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and understandable manner
Fluent written and verbal communication in both English and Dutch. German is considered a plus
Your work may require international travel
Computer and AI literate, good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint), knowledge of S/4 Hana system is a plus
