Job Description

The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Linen Supervisor to oversee the efficient management, cleanliness, and availability of all linen and textile items across the club. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Supervise the daily operation of the linen room and related storage areas.

- Manage the receipt, sorting, counting, storage, distribution, collection, and return of linen.

- Maintain accurate records of linen stock, usage, deliveries, losses, damages, and replacements.

- Ensure sufficient supplies of bed linen, towels, table linen, uniforms, robes, and guest textiles.

- Inspect linen and textiles for cleanliness, stains, damage, wear, and quality.

- Separate and report damaged, stained, or unusable items for repair or replacement.

- Coordinate with housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, events, operations, and procurement teams.

- Distribute clean linen and collect used linen according to daily operational requirements.

- Support linen requirements for VIP visits, villas, events, private functions, and special occasions.

- Ensure all linen is stored correctly in a clean, dry, organised, and secure environment.

- Monitor par levels and inform management of replenishment and purchasing requirements.

- Supervise linen attendants and provide guidance, training, and daily task allocation.

- Ensure proper handling, transportation, folding, labelling, and storage of linen.

- Coordinate with external laundry providers and suppliers where applicable.

- Monitor laundry deliveries and verify quantities and quality upon receipt.

- Support uniform collection, issue, return, and replacement procedures.

- Follow all hygiene, health, safety, security, and stock-control procedures.

- Maintain accurate linen schedules, inventory reports, inspection records, and reconciliation documents.

- Investigate discrepancies, shortages, and unexplained losses, reporting them promptly.

- Ensure linen operations reflect the Royal Stables’ luxury positioning and service standards.

- Maintain confidentiality when handling member, guest, staff, and operational information.

- Contribute to cost control, waste reduction, and continuous improvement of linen operations.

- Perform other linen, housekeeping, laundry, and operational duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

- 2+ years of experience in linen, laundry, housekeeping, or a similar supervisory role.

- Experience in luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs, villas, or hospitality environments is desirable.

- Strong knowledge of linen management, laundry processes, textile care, and stock control.

- Previous experience supervising or leading a team.

- Excellent organisational, counting, record-keeping, and inventory-management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.

- Knowledge of linen par levels, handling procedures, and loss-prevention practices.

- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

- Physically fit and comfortable handling linen, equipment, and stock.

- Professional, reliable, organised, discreet, and service-oriented.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is highly desirable.
