Job Description

Job Summary

At The Royal Stables Private Members Club in Abu Dhabi , we are looking for a passionate and service-driven Café Supervisor to lead the day-to-day café experience for our members and guests. The role combines hands-on operational leadership with personalized service, team development, and a strong focus on product quality, presentation, and consistently high Club standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth service, operational readiness, and consistently high standards.

- Lead and support the café team during service, providing coaching, direction, and real-time feedback.

- Engage with members and guests, anticipate preferences, and ensure attentive and personalized service.

- Maintain strong knowledge of coffee, beverages, food offerings, ingredients, and current café trends.

- Monitor product quality, presentation, service flow, cleanliness, and overall café ambience.

- Handle member feedback and service concerns professionally, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate follow-up.

- Manage stock levels, ordering, wastage, and inventory while supporting cost control and revenue opportunities.

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and established Club procedures.

Desired Skills & Competencies

- Diploma or relevant qualification in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field is preferred.

- 3–5 years of café or Food & Beverage experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity , preferably within a private members club, premium café, or luxury hospitality environment.

- Strong leadership and hands-on team coaching capabilities.

- Good knowledge of specialty coffee, beverages, café service, and contemporary product trends.

- Strong member engagement and service recovery skills.

- Commercial awareness with an understanding of inventory, cost control, upselling, and operational performance.

- Organized, adaptable, and composed with a strong eye for quality, presentation, and detail.
