- Assist managing and mentoring Inventory Specialists and staff
- Maintain and review efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure
- Provide accurate and timely order entry for operations
- Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection
- Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments
- Make system adjustments as required and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
- Follow clients disposition of damaged and/or expired product, including shipment for destruction
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Customer Service and initiate cycle count requests
- Review and analyze weekly inventory report to determine error causes; initiate corrective action
- Support product recall return process through physical identification and segregation of product
- Responsible for running of reports, reconciliation of final count variances, and all other reconciliation activities
- Process accurate perpetual inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement, when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
