Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Construction Safety Professional for a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity in Newington, CT.

Position Details

- Location: Newington, CT
- Pay: $40–$50/hour , depending on experience
- Employment Type: Long-term Temp-to-Hire
- Experience Required: 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Certification Required: OSHA 30

Job Responsibilities

- Oversee and promote safe work practices on the construction site
- Ensure onsite compliance with OSHA and applicable safety regulations
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards
- Communicate safety requirements and procedures to field personnel
- Help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive jobsite
- Address safety concerns and assist with corrective actions as needed
- Support the project team in maintaining all required safety standards and documentation

Qualifications

- 5+ years of construction safety experience required
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
- Ability to identify hazards and proactively address safety concerns
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, tradespeople, supervisors, and project management
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
