About this role

Pro Rehab , an established Rehab company with over 35 years of successful business is hiring a  Speech Language Pathologist . We are looking for a  Speech Language Pathologist   to float between  Truman Senior Living & Park View Care Center ! We offer a competitive wage, benefits and  mileage reimbursement ($.76 / mile).  We are seeking an SLP with current CCC-SLP certification.

Position Type: On-Call, minimum of 6 hours per month

Wage Range:  $45-$55 / hour depending on experience.

Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:

- Assess & Diagnose Communication Disorders:  Evaluate patient needs and deficits such as but not limited to: patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop & Implement Treatment Plans:  Create personalized therapy programs to improve the functional deficits of the patient.
- Provide Speech & Language Therapy:  Conduct exercises and interventions to improve communication and speech abilities.
- Educate & Support Patients & Families:  Teach strategies for effective communication and techniques to improve daily life.
- Monitor Progress & Adjust Treatment:  Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify therapy plans as needed.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:  Work with doctors, nurses, and therapists to ensure comprehensive support for patients.
Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Speech Therapy Program and have a bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess a current accredited MN Speech Therapist License.
- Homecare Homebase EMR experience helpful but will train
- Experience with OASIS preferred or willing to be trained
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain.
- Develop care plans and discharge planning strategies for optimal patient recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and personalized treatment plans.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to educate patients and their families on therapy techniques.
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required.
