Job Description

JW Nutritional, LLC is a dietary supplement manufacturer of capsule, tablet, powder, and liquid products headquartered in Allen, TX.

This entry-level role supports all purchasing department activities, ensuring resources are available to meet company needs. As a Purchasing Coordinator , you will collaborate with internal departments and external vendors on procurement-related tasks while maintaining accurate records and databases to support departmental goals.

Job Duties

- Coordinate purchase orders from initiation to fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Assist with supplier communication, order confirmations, and issue resolution.

- Maintain purchasing records, update order statuses, and manage data entry in the ERP system.

- Coordinate with logistic team to arrange and track inbound shipments, working closely with suppliers, shipping agents, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

- File claims for any discrepancies or damages.

- Monitor open orders, follow up on delays, and proactively communicate shipment status updates to internal team.

- Coordinate with the purchasing, sales and product development teams on existing and upcoming projects

- Collaborate with the production, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flow and address any supply chain challenges.

- Maintain purchasing documents, contracts, and supplier agreements to ensure compliance and accuracy.

- Track assigned projects and initiatives, providing regular updates as required.

- Assist with non-conformance material return when needed.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

- Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor and working relationship with peers, management, employees, and other individuals that interact with this position

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

Qualifications

Experience:

1 year experience in related position/field is preferred

Practical experience and knowledge working with ERP and MS Office

Education:

Associate Degree or higher, Bachelor's or above degree in business, supply chain management is preferred

Language:

Must be able to effectively communicate in English (oral, verbal, and read/write)

Work Authorization:

US work authorization or a valid authorization to work in the US.
