PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate s , compile s , analyze s , and distribute s accurate and timely information to prepare and file documents related to telephony regulatory matters and compliance functions.
- Assist s with preparation and filing of revisions to regulatory documents.
- Prepare s correspondence and responsive materials to third parties and regulatory authorities.
- Test s basic tax mapping scenarios within the CLA tax lab and/or client’s tax engines to ensure appropriate and expected tax results.
- Support s testing and implementing systems and/or process changes to add increased efficiencies or conformance with tax rules .
- Review s jurisdiction laws pertaining to exemptions and validate forms provided by client’s customers to ensure good faith standards are met to indemnify client from tax liability .
- Contribute s to the development of requirements for new and existing client projects.
- Understand s and work s to resolve general customer issues.
- Participate s in other operational and strategic projects or duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree required – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred .
- General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
- Willingness to learn new technologies .
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.
