About this role
The Area Manager provides overall leadership and oversight of Save the Children’s programmes and field operations, ensuring effective management of programmes, staff, resources, finance, HR, and support functions. The role works closely with programme leads to ensure quality implementation, identify new programming opportunities, and incorporate field perspectives into programme design. The Area Manager also strengthens staff capacity, operational systems, risk management, and internal controls, while representing Save the Children with authorities, communities, NGOs, INGOs, and other stakeholders.
