Medivet Chester-le-Street is looking for an experienced first opinion Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, close-knit team on a six-month fixed-term basis .
You’ll be joining a supportive team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, passionate Nurses and welcoming Receptionists, with a great mix of experience and a genuinely collaborative approach to patient care.
Based close to the town centre, our spacious and modern practice is well equipped to support a varied first opinion caseload. We have dedicated wards, a large waiting area, spacious prep room and separate imaging suite. We’re also proud to be an ISFM-accredited Cat Friendly Clinic , with a dedicated feline entrance, waiting area and hospital ward.
Our facilities include:
- Digital and dental X-ray
- Endoscopy
- Ultrasound
- In-house haematology and biochemistry analysers
This is a full-time, 40-hour role across 4 days per week , with a 1 in 5 Saturday morning rota (8:30am–12:00pm) . Salary up to £68,800 DOE
