About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest .
- Perform API testing for REST APIs, including functional, integration, regression, and negative testing.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems, databases, APIs, and reporting layers.
- Test Power BI dashboards and reports , including data accuracy, filters, calculations, visualizations, and report-level functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and automation framework improvements.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and automation efficiency.
Mandatory Skills:
- Python
- Pytest
- API Testing / REST API Testing
- SQL

- Strong understanding of QA processes, test cases, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC
Nice to Have
- Selenium or Playwright
- Experience with UI automation
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to Git/GitHub
- Experience with data validation or ETL testing
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
