About this role

We are looking for a Business Banking Officer to support the growth and servicing of our business-banking portfolio. In this role, you will   assist   SME and corporate clients with onboarding, account servicing and payment-related requests while ensuring full compliance with KYC, AML/CFT and internal-risk requirements. You will work closely with Sales, Operations,   Compliance   and other teams to deliver excellent customer experiences and help improve our business-banking processes.

Key responsibilities

- Act as a primary contact for business customers, responding to enquiries and providing clear,   accurate   information on products,   services   and processes.

- Support the acquisition, onboarding and ongoing servicing of SME, corporate and other non-retail clients.

- Collect,   review   and   maintain   client documentation, including company, director,   signatory   and ultimate beneficial owner information.

- Coordinate customer due diligence, screening and risk-assessment activities with Compliance and other relevant control functions.

- Identify   incomplete,   inconsistent   or higher-risk cases and escalate them promptly in line with internal procedures.

- Assist   business customers with account opening, maintenance, payment and deposit-related service requests, and issue resolution.

- Maintain   accurate   records of customer interactions, applications, documentation,   decisions   and follow-up actions.

- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Customer Service to deliver   timely   customer outcomes.

- Monitor service performance, recurring customer   issues   and operational risks; recommend practical process improvements.

- Support the launch or enhancement of business-banking products by providing customer and operational input.

- Treat customer data confidentially and act with integrity,   fairness   and transparency in all business dealings.

Required qualifications and experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Business , Finance, Banking, Economics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

- 2+ years’ experience in business banking, corporate/SME customer service, banking operations,   onboarding   or a similar financial-services role.

- Working knowledge of KYC/CDD, AML/CFT and sanctions-screening principles for legal entities and beneficial owners.

- Understanding of business-banking products, customer   journeys   and operational processes.

- Strong customer communication,   organisation   and stakeholder-management skills.

- High attention to detail, sound   judgement   and ability to manage multiple cases to deadlines.

- Proficiency   with Microsoft Office and CRM/core-banking or workflow systems.

- Professional English   required ;   additional   relevant European languages are an advantage.

The starting salary for this position is €27k gross per year.
