About this role
About Blackpanda
Somewhere in Hong Kong tonight, a server room is on fire. Not literally — though sometimes it might as well be. A ransomware note is blinking on a managing director's screen in a tower above Central. A family office in Mid-Levels is locked out of its own ledgers. A trading desk in Quarry Bay is running orders on paper. Across the delta in Cotai, a hospitality group has just learned its booking system isn't its own anymore. Somewhere — Sheung Wan, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kwun Tong, Sha Tin, Taipa — a CIO is staring at the ceiling at three in the morning, wondering who to call.
That call comes to us.
Blackpanda is Asia's premier cyber crisis response firm — Lloyd's of London–accredited, regionally headquartered, and built for one purpose: to walk in when the worst has already happened, and walk out leaving the company still on its feet. We do incident response and digital forensics. That is it. No managed services to upsell. No audit pipeline humming in the background. No identity crisis about what we are. We are pure IR, and we like it that way.
Three channels, one operating force. We reach the market in three ways, and every channel feeds the same unit.
- Consulting. Hourly, senior-led engagements for enterprises and board-level matters where complexity, sensitivity, or scale demand our most experienced operators.
- IR-1. Our proprietary fixed-cost subscription is sold through IT channels and underwritten on our own insurance paper. IR-1 puts a real response solution in the hands of mid-market and small companies who have never been able to afford traditional cyber cover — paid up front, before the breach, with our team on the other end of every activation.
- Traditional cyber insurance. Full-stack policies for the mature, board-level buyer, with our response practice on the inside of every claim. Not a panel. Not a vendor. Our own people.
As a Lloyd's coverholder, the revenue arrives before the breach, not after it. Where traditional insurers park that float in markets, we pour ours straight back into the team — into people, training, tooling, and hours on the keyboard against real adversaries. Our gross margins run roughly two times those of traditional IR firms, and every point of that advantage compounds inside the unit.
What we are looking for:
At Blackpanda, Revenue Operations is the operating backbone of our commercial organisation. We're looking for a Revenue Operations Manager who is equally comfortable with strategy and execution, someone who can own our systems, data and processes as we scale across Asia-Pacific.
In this role, you'll audit and optimise Blackpanda's HubSpot configuration, drive data quality and reporting accuracy, and systematically automate manual work. You'll partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance and Delivery to create seamless operations, from pipeline through contract close and customer handover. Most importantly, you'll translate revenue data into actionable insights that leaders and teams actually use.
You're the right fit if you combine analytical rigour with pragmatism: someone who can see what needs to change, align stakeholders, and implement it without requiring perfect conditions.
CRM, Data & Revenue Systems
- Own and continuously improve HubSpot as the source of truth for accounts, contacts, deals, partners and revenue reporting, taking over and advancing Blackpanda's current RevOps configuration.
- Establish clear data ownership, required fields, lifecycle and pipeline standards, and drive consistent CRM adoption across APJ.
- Automate routine work and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve data quality, accelerate reporting cycles, and boost sales productivity.
- Maintain clear, practical documentation that enables team adoption and reduces dependency on tribal knowledge.
Revenue Insights, Planning & Productivity
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports and workflows that translate revenue data into concise insights—covering pipeline health, conversion, velocity, bookings and commercial performance to support leadership decisions.
- Support revenue planning, territory, capacity and resource decisions with accurate analysis and clearly defined operating metrics.
- Identify trends, gaps and bottlenecks, then recommend practical actions that improve predictability and execution.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5–8 years’ experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations or Commercial Operations within B2B SaaS, cybersecurity or enterprise technology; APJ or multi-country experience is strongly preferred.
- Advanced, hands-on HubSpot capability, including CRM configuration, data architecture, pipelines, workflows, dashboards, reporting, governance and user adoption. Salesforce, Clari or comparable platform experience is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with a track record of turning complex commercial data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Experience supporting both direct and channel-led business, including distributors, resellers or strategic partners, and familiarity with recurring-revenue or professional-services models.
- Strong understanding of the B2B revenue lifecycle from opportunity creation and quotation through booking, customer handover, renewal and expansion.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as Claude or equivalent to improve analysis, documentation, automation or Revenue Operations workflows.
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to challenge data constructively and influence senior and cross-functional teams.
- Clear written and verbal English, strong organisation and attention to detail, and comfort operating independently in a fast-moving environment. Additional Asian languages are advantageous.
What we offer:
- 40 days’ paid leave per year, inclusive of public holidays, subject to our Leave Policy and manager approval.
- Limited Work From Anywhere allowance of up to five days per quarter, subject to team coverage and manager approval.
- Comprehensive corporate medical and dental plan with a large direct billing network.
- Opportunities for inter-office travel, including an annual week-long Tribe Onsite.
- USD 5,000 annual professional training budget, subject to manager approval and a 12-month retention requirement.
Disclaimer:
Candidates who progress through the interview stage may be asked to complete a case study assessing analytical ability, commercial judgement and the practical application of Revenue Operations skills.
