What youll be doing:

You will be a welcomed team member, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents lives. As a Guest Attendant , youll form a deep understanding of your residents and their living experience. You will build relationships with the residents and their family members, offering a variety of support options and program choices that enrich their daily health and well-being. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.

You are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff

You can work independently and/or as a member of a team

Support residents with their activities of daily living including eating, dressing, hygiene and grooming as per residents individual plans of care

Answering all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service

Ensures that residents own personal grooming is appropriate and uniform/dress is clean, tidy and according to dress code

Assist with transporting residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required

Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support; as well as oral and dental care

Completing laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments

What you need to know:

Grade 12 minimum education required

You have Safe Serve designation and one year experience in dining room service

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit

You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
