About this role
This role exists because a two-sided marketplace fails without supply. The Head of Supply ensures the right number of couriers are available at the right place and time, at a unit cost the business can sustain across 15+ countries.
The role bridges global strategy and local execution: setting the acquisition playbook, owning supply forecasting and marketplace health, and representing supply in product and budget decisions at the executive level
Key Responsibilities
- Marketplace Health: Own supply-demand balance by market, zone, and time of day based on the Marketplace efficiency inputs. Maintain courier availability, utilisation, and productivity metrics. Manage geographic coverage gaps and expansion readiness. Run supply forecasting models with measurable accuracy targets. Own SLA achievement, done rate, and acceptance rate performance.
- Supply Acquisition: Own the end-to-end acquisition funnel from awareness to 1/3/10 delivery. Set and manage CAC targets, acquisition budgets, and channel mix. Run digital, referral, offline, and partnership acquisition programmes. Design and execute local activation campaigns across all markets. Build and maintain an experimentation framework for continuous optimisation.
- Supply Marketing: Own courier brand positioning and the courier value proposition. Drive performance marketing alongside the central Marketing team. Test creative and messaging for acquisition and retention campaigns. Define retention communication strategy for active and lapsing couriers.
- Budget & ROI Ownership: Own and allocate acquisition, incentive, referral, and marketing budgets. Define CAC, payback, and ROI frameworks for all supply spend. Present quarterly budget plans with scenario modelling. Hold accountability for budget efficiency benchmarks across all markets.
- Strategy: Author and own the global supply strategy, updated annually and reviewed quarterly. Build the country prioritisation framework based on market maturity and opportunity. Lead quarterly and annual planning cycles, including OKR-setting with country teams.
- Operations: Run weekly global supply business reviews with country teams. Manage country escalations and unblock operational blockers at speed. Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and GR.
- Product: Represent supply requirements in all product roadmap decisions. Prioritise supply product features and own the supply product backlog. Coordinate experiment sequencing and rollout planning with Product.
- Analytics: Own all supply dashboards, country scorecards, and performance reports. Run funnel analysis and marketplace diagnostics on a weekly cadence. Deliver forecast accuracy tracking and scenario planning.
